We never change.... do we???
The other day, a teacher said something interesting, something with a hidden meaning... a story, here it goes:
I have a bohemian crystal vase, one that I really love. It sits on my desk, so every morning when I come in, I like to watch the rays of sun piercing through, see their colours, I know every shade. After I touch it with a pen to hear that clean CLING.
Imagine this you coming in and by mistake you reach to take something and the vase falls on the ground and breaks... You panic, as you know how much it means to me... you go around telling everyone what happened. Some one tell you to take some ''magic glue''. Then you gather all the pieces together and glue them back. do you think I will not notice?
The next day I come in, the sun doesn't shine like before, the colours are gone, the CLING is gone... despite that outside the weather is beautiful and the birds are singing.
Then she stops, looks around the room, everyone else is silent, after a few seconds she continues: It's the same with trust, once broken, it can't be repaired. So... don't break my crystal vase
However, do we ever change? Or do we just understand more by every mistake we make and acknowledge?
